After viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Hope's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing today up to and including 10 October 2024 (6 days).

Stewards spoke with Mr Williamson regarding the mare shifting ground in the run home and not maintaining a straight line. Mr Williamson explained that at this mare's previous start when finishing wide on the track she had shied at the crowd when obtaining the lead therefore today he elected to shift down the track when well clear of other runners to avoid a repeat of the previous start. Stewards noted Mr Williamson's comments.
